Nancy started playing with fire in 1991. Enchanted by the sparks and noise, she forged herself a career. Her work is now found in private collections around the globe. For the last 5 years, Nancy has worked in "the most beautiful blacksmith shop in the world"; the front garden of the world famous Sooke Harbour House. She was one of the selected artists published in the British Columbia best seller "The Art of Sooke Harbour House".
Her art is constructed from both new steel and old metal found on the coast. This found metal offers a unique texture and style to her pieces. Working with objects ranging from old sawmill blades to spikes recycled from British Columbia’s coastal industry (which she calls industrially wasted steel) she creates her imaginative works of art.
You're invited to contact Nancy should you wish to commission a custom piece or to order a piece you like.
